Celebrating Black History

As part of CREC’s district-wide Black History Month events, the Academy of Science and Innovation held its annual Black History Month Celebration on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. The Black History Month Celebration was a cultural showcase that celebrated the many outstanding contributions of African-Americans to our country. Our students performed dances, skits, poetic readings, songs, and a documentary. Additionally, there were guest artists from Hartford that performed.
