Innovation Girls Basketball Captures First CRAL Conference Title In School History
NEW BRITAIN — The Innovation girls basketball team added on to their historic season on Thursday night. After finishing the regular season with an 18-2 record, which was the best in school history, the Ravens secured their first ever Conference Championship as they defeated the Classical Magnet Gladiators, 66-31 on at Innovation High School for the Capitol Region Athletic League Championship.
Innovation head coach Cristian Irizarry was proud to be a part of the first team in school history to win a Conference Title. He said that winning the CRAL Championship was one of the team’s main goals before the season began.
