"Wear Red Day 2025" Fundraiser Hosted by NHS to Benefit the American Heart Association

The Academy of Science and Innovation announces the success of our
"Wear Red Day 2025" event, a heartfelt initiative led by
our National Honor Society students to raise funds for the American Heart Association. The event, held on February 7, 2025, was a remarkable success
thanks to the hard work of our dedicated students and the generous support from
families, faculty, and the entire ASI community.
Through the collective efforts of our students, we are excited to
report that $450.00 was raised to support the mission of the
American Heart Association. This contribution will directly support
cardiovascular research, health education programs, and efforts to prevent
heart disease and stroke. We are proud to announce that 100% of the money
raised will be donated to the American Heart Association to further their
life-saving work.
On Wear Red Day, members of our school community proudly red
to show their solidarity with those affected by heart disease. The event not
only helped raise vital funds but also raised awareness about the importance of
heart health and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. This marks another
remarkable achievement by our National Honor Society and reinforces the spirit
of service that is central to their mission.
"This event exemplifies the values of compassion, leadership,
and service that define our NHS chapter. We are honored to contribute to the
American Heart Association and make a positive impact on heart health in our
community," said Stacy O'Donnell, ASI's NHS Advisor.
