This is the image for the news article titled Parent News - Week of Oct. 14thGood Morning Academy of Science and Innovation Families,I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend!  We have a very busy four day week ahead of us at Academy of Science and Innovation.  Wednesday, October 16th is SAT Day for 12th grade students (12th graders ONLY may dress comfortable for the SAT, they do not need to be in uniform) 9th Grade students will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 16th (9th grade students are expected to be in dress code).  10th Grade students will be going on a field trip on Wednesday, October 16th to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.  On Friday, October 18th, 8th grade students will be attending a field trip to Real Art Ways.Permission slips for our annual ASI Broadway trip are now available Our trip this year will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.  We will depart school at 7:45 am and head to Ellen’s Stardust Diner – home of the singing waitstaff – for lunch.   After lunch, we will be walking to The Broadway Theatre to see the revival production of “West Side Story”.  Our coach bus will pick us up after the show.  On the way home we will stop at a rest area and students will be able to purchase a snack.  The cost of the trip is $103.00 This includes the cost of the coach bus, lunch at Ellen’s Diner and the show ticket.  Any snacks that students purchase at the rest area on the way home are not included in the cost of the trip.  Students have the option to bring snacks for the bus ride home.  The trip is open to all ASI students.  Please note:  There are only 50 tickets available for this trip.  Therefore, the first 50 students who get in both their money and permission slips will be allowed to attend the trip.
