This is the image for the news article titled Dig Pink Games @ ASI Tomorrow is the volleyball’s :volleyball::volleyball: first of two Dig Pink games this week. We have a new tradition this year of celebrating a cancer survivor before the game. The game starts at 5:00p (or a little bit later) and families and students are encouraged to attend if possible. We will be honoring our very own Patty Hahn (one of our Math/MIT intervention teachers), who has been cancer-free for 11 years strong. We are so thankful to Ms. Hahn for allowing the girls to celebrate her story and share it with everyone tomorrow night. Ms. Hahn - your positive outlook is contagious and on behalf of the girls' volleyball program, we thank you for allowing us to start a new tradition tomorrow night by celebrating your story.

What is Dig Pink®?

Schools, tournaments, and clubs unite their communities by hosting events that create impactful experiences and build positive team culture, all while fundraising for Side-Out’s stage IV breast cancer research.

Designed to educate and empower young athletes, Dig Pink teaches the value and importance of giving back to the community, working as a team, and taking the initiative to get involved.

You don’t have to be a volleyball team or student-athlete to be a part of the Dig Pink movement.

A few ways to show your support include dedicating your birthday, asking for donations instead of wedding gifts, or having a pancake breakfast or spaghetti dinner! Get creative!
